About
I am a passionate software engineer who loves building tech tools to solve real-life challenges. The first website I built provided a channel of communication with my community and improved the retention of students while I was working as a dance instructor in New York, NY.
A severe ankle injury ended my professional dancing life but opened the door for my programming career. I was so excited that I could use my creativity and passion to build apps to help others, while realizing that there are so many things I have yet to learn. I then started to learn python, C++, R, SQL, Ruby, and system design. I’m addicted to exploring new technologies, and I want to use my skills to make an impact in my community!
On a more personal note, I like dancing, baking, taking pictures, swimming, rafting, playing piano, listening to music and doing karaoke with friends.
